Vickie Guerrero, who is currently signed with AEW, made an appearance on the It’s Our House Podcast. The former WWE manager spoke about different topics and one of them involved his late husband and WWE Hall of Famer Eddie Guerrero. She opened up on the couple of life lessons she had learnt from the ‘Latino Heat’.

Vickie Guerrero went on to reveal that she had learned a couple of specific things which were remembering her religious faith and always being respectful to the wrestling fans.

She said: “Just a couple of things that come to mind is remember my faith. I pray every time I go out before a match or anything I want to do. I give everything to God and I give him the credit for my talent, my mind, my body being good, because without those little things, I wouldn’t have made it this far.”

Vickie went on to reveal how Eddie was very strong in his faith. It was the particular thing that has stayed with her throughout her career.

It was unfortunate for the fans to lose Eddie Guerrero back in 2005, but Vickie said that his beliefs and principles have resonated with her. She is immensely thankful to God.

Another aspect which Vickie reflected on, was to respect the fans. She said Eddie had taught her to respect the fans because at the end of the day they are the ones who pay for the tickets and help the talents put bread on the table.

She said: “Then also respecting the fans. These are the people that pay for tickets to watch us, they feed our family, they helped me pay my bills.

Vickie said that she always tries to give respect to the fans whether with the autograph or listening to their opinions.

She also said that majority of her fan base is ‘incredibly supportive’ and she always give them credit.

Vickie Guerrero is having a fine stint in AEW. She had revealed that WWE had ‘cut her off’ following her appearance in the promotion as guest commentator.

She recently revealed Andrade El Idolo’s signing with the promotion. Now, she is set to make her AEW in-ring debut on June 30 edition of Dynamite, teaming up with Nyla Rose taking on AEW Women’s World Champion Britt Baker and Reba.
