Bayern Munich has lifted their sixth UEFA Champions League trophy, defeating Paris Saint Germain in the final match in Lisbon. A mesmerising run in the campaign, and the Bundesliga giants have conquered Europe once again, seven years since their last UCL win in 2013. On the glorious occasion, players, clubs as well as fans come together on Twitter to celebrate Bayern Munich’s stellar achievement.
The superstar squad, under the guidance of Hans-Dieter Flick are the first team in the history of UEFA Champions League to have been undefeated in one season. This year also marks their second treble since 2013, and are the only European team to have completed two trebles alongside FC Barcelona.

The Estádio da Luz saw the match winning strike from Bayern winger Kingsley Coman, who himself came through the youth academy of PSG. This was also the first Champions League final for the French elites, but ultimately, victory was sealed for the Bavarians.
