There was only one winner out of the Buccaneers and Saints match for the NFC Divisional Round, but Tom Brady and Drew Brees won the hearts of everyone following the match.

Amidst the speculations that Saints veteran Drew Brees might have played his final NFL match against Bucs, his fellow QB Tom Brady shared a wholesome moment on the pitch- which also involved Brees’s son.

As the Saints QB was having his possible final moments at the Mercedes-Benz Superdome, Brady came and embraced Brees, followed by throwing a pass to the latter’s son.

The 43-year-old Tom Brady and the 42-year-old Drew Brees are two of the oldest players currently active in the NFL. Revered to be two of the greatest QBs of all time, both players have completed more than two decades in the league.

With rumours spreading about an upcoming retirement announcement, this could very well be the last time the NFL fandom saw Brady and Brees together on the pitch.

While Drew Brees might hang his boots up soon, Tom Brady still has a major task at hand. Heading for the NFC Championship clash against Green Bay Packers on 24th January.

The six-time Super Bowl champ also has the opportunity to take Bucs to home-field advantage in Super Bowl LV, which is slated to be hosted at the Raymond James Stadium.

Powering the team to a 30-20 win over Saints, Brady completed 18 of 33 passes, covering 199 passing yards with two touchdown passes.

Back in early January, Brady created history as oldest NFL player to clock more than 40 touchdown passes in one season (43 in total), clinching the record after passing for four touchdowns in Bucs’ 44-27 win against Atlanta Falcons at home.
