WWE is on the search for a new ring announcer for SummerSlam pay-per-view that is set to take place later this month and the company is looking for the best performer on the TikTok platform. This competition is sponsored by Pure Life Water and a plethora of TikTokkers used #WWEAnnouncerContest to take shot at the contest.

“WWE will launch a search for its next great ring announcer on TikTok as users can upload their most entertaining videos using the hashtag #WWEAnnouncerContest. The best performers will earn a trip to SummerSlam at Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas on Saturday, August 21, where they will serve as a ring announcer at WWE’s biggest event of 2021.”

Of all the names, Ryback has drawn quite an attention on the platform by taking part in the contest. He has been making some bold remarks on the controversies and happenings of WWE. The former WWE Intercontinental also recently took a shot at Paul Heyman, his former on-screen manager, and commented on John Cena’s apology for calling Taiwan a country.

A possible return or just a tease?

Ryback departed WWE back in 2016. He has been dropping hints about making a pro wrestling return for quite some time but the wait is never-ending for the fans. He recently uploaded a video of himself with his chiropractor. Ryback said: “See ya at SummerSlam.”

His caption read: “Another great session on the shoulder today with Dr. Carlos and Dr. Sean. Couldn’t do this without these guys!”

In another Tweet,  he also shared a video clip of his entrance during his time in WWE.

Will Ryback return at SummerSlam? At this point, only he knows it. There is a huge chance that WWE could be bringing him back at ‘The Biggest Party of The Summer’, while it could also possibly be a tease for the fans. The question will be answered only when the event takes place at Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas on Saturday, August 21.
