Retribution seems to be a new member, this time an established part of the WWE main roster. According to multiple sources, he can even be the leader of the group.
Before Hurt Business’s 6 man tag team match against Ricochet, Apollo Crews and Mustafa Ali, the former’s manager and leader MVP welcomed any of the later team members of join the faction. While Ricochet, whose partner Cedric Alexander recently joined the faction, was seen pondering the offer, the others rejected it without any difficulty.
After Hurt Business won their tag match, Ali called any member of the faction out for a singles encounter. The offer was accepted by MVP. During the match, the lights went off and Retribution appeared, attacking MVP. During the mayhem, MVP asked Ali to forget the rivalry and help him against the newest WWE faction.
Outside the ring, Ali faced the recently renamed T-Bar and Mace, and the smile on MVP’s face quickly vanished as he shockingly ordered them to attack the veteran. After the beatdown, Ali posed with Retribution in the ring.

While Ali has not been confirmed as the leader of the group, him ordering T-Bar and Mace points to him as superior to the two most important member of the group, hypothetically confirming him as the leader.

Retribution And Ali Can Be A Impressive Blend
On the September 21 episode of Raw, it was revealed that Dominik Dijakovic, Dio Maddin, Shane Thorne, Mercedes Martinez, and Mia Yim were the primary members of the masked stable, being renamed to T-Bar (Dijakovic), Mace (Dio Maddin), Slapjack (Shane Thorne), Retaliation (Mercedes Martinez) and Reckoning (Mia Yim). That same night, T-Bar, Mace, and Slapjack made their in-ring debut against The Hurt Business (Bobby Lashley, Shelton Benjamin, and Cedric Alexander) in the main event, losing by disqualification. Interestingly, the faction was absent in the Raw before Ali’s reveal.
The Retribution angle has not been received well by the WWE Universe, with fans voicing with displeasure with plotholes and irregularities in the angle. But with Ali’s reveal, the angle takes a new turn as he was also reportedly behind the hacker angle that went on for a few months before being dropped. Could WWE bring a connection to the events?
Please tie this back into the Hacker stuff. This is the best thing they've done with Retribution so far. pic.twitter.com/2s0ipRKKBM
