Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes and his fiancee Brittany Matthews have been blessed with a baby girl and the couple shared the first photo of their child on Instagram.
Sterling Skye Mahomes: The couple welcome their little daughter
On Sunday, the 2020 Super Bowl winner announced the pleasing news on his official Instagram, along with a picture of the child holding his finger and also revealing the name of his baby girl- Sterling Skye Mahomes. Brittany also shared the same on her account.
Mahomes and Brittany started dating all the way back in 2012, while they both were at Whitehouse High School as a sophomore and junior respectively. They were engaged in September last year after Mahomes received his Super Bowl LIV ring and also announced that there were going to have a baby.
Brittany has often taken her excitement about motherhood to social media, and recently posted on Instagram that she was “ready to meet” her little princess.
Prior to that, she also shared an ultrasound picture of the unborn baby with the caption “Mom & Dad, taking a small detour to the wedding”
“We have all the things planned out, and every single gadget and tool you can have to be great parents,” the Chiefs QB stated before the Super Bowl LV clash with Tampa Bay Buccaneers earlier this month.
