After WWE released a picture of the new Women’s Tag Champions with their title belts, Jax, not happy with the usage of a facetuned photo, called out the company.

Jax, revealing the difference between the real and the edited picture, states that she is not happy with the message a facetuned picture sends to the WWE Universe.

“I get that Facetune is a “thing” now, but I’m not a big fan. I wear enough makeup and have great hair installed to pick up where I lack in looks, Facetune is a bit much. Yes, in my untouched pic you can see a big zit on my chin, whatevs. I have asked WWE to please replace my obviously facetuned pic with the untouched, I’m not happy with the message it sends,” she states.

Nia Jax Has Had An Interesting Journey With Shayna Baszler

Jax’s storyline team with Shayna Baszler has an interesting history. Jax was, in storyline, suspended indefinitely from WWE for attacking a WWE official on the August 3, 2020 episode of Raw. She attacked that same WWE official (Indie veteran Pat Buck) on August 3. Despite her suspension, she made her appearance on the August 17, 2020 episode of Raw, brawling with Shayna Baszler, during her tag team match with Asuka against Banks and Bayley. On the August 24 episode of Raw, she and Baszler had another confrontation with Bayley and Banks.

It was then announced that Bayley and Banks would defend the Women’s Tag Team Championships against her and Baszler at Payback, thus lifting Jax’s suspension. They went on to win the title on the event, leading her to have her first tag title win and Baszler’s first title win on the main roster.

While the Women’s tag team scene is undergoing major changes following the dissolution of The Iiconics and the violent break-up of ‘The Role Models’ team of Bayley and Sasha Banks. It is to see how they survive with the titles and which teams they face as an opponent. As Women’s Tag Champs, they are allowed to float to any of the three brands and it is to see who manages to defeat the behemoth team and win the title.
