The fifth matchday of Week 19 of the 2020-21 NBA season has concluded and it’s time to take a look back at the scores and highlights of the matches and standings of the teams.

76ers 126-104 Hawks

A staggering second quarter yielding 42 points set the game for the Philadelphia 76ers, who now have three wins on the trot. The win applies pressure on Eastern Conference leaders Brooklyn Nets.

Tobias Harris, Seth Curry, and Joel Embiid joint top-scored with 18 points. Trae Young led the visitors with a 32-point display.

Celtics 143-140 Spurs

Boston Celtics secured a vital win over San Antonio Spurs following an overtime finish at TD Garden.

The Celtics were 23-points behind after the first quarter, but managed to overcome the deficit. With the scores level at 128 apiece at the end of regulation time, the Celtics outscored the Spurs 15-12 to take the contest.

Jayson Tatum set the court ablaze with a sensational 60-point effort while DeMar DeRozan top scored for the visitors after 34 points to his name.

Cavaliers 93-122 Wizards

Washington Wizards racked up their 9th win in their last 10 matches following a sizzling display against the struggling Cleveland Cavaliers at the Quicken Loans Arena.

The Cavaliers have lost five in a row now, and had no answer to Russell Westbrook, who notched yet another triple double for the season.

Grizzlies 92-75 Magic

Memphis Grizzlies secured a comfortable win over Orlando Magic at the FedEx Forum. Jonas Valanciunas made a vital contribution with 15 rebounds.

Dillon Brooks top scored for the hosts with 20 points. No player from Magic was able to register more than 15 points following a poor offensive display.

Nets 109-128 TrailBlazers

Brooklyn Nets hang on to their top seed by a thread after a defeat to Portland TrailBlazers at the Barclays Center.

The Nets were surprisingly outscored for the majority of the contest with only Kyrie Irving getting a say with 28 points.

The TrailBlazers secured their third win in a row courtesy of Damian Lillard’s 32 point display.

Bulls 98-108 Bucks

After their shocking loss to Houston Rockets, Milwaukee Bucks returned back to winning ways at the United Center against Chicago Bulls.

With both sides missing key players in the form of Zach LaVine and Giannis Antetokounmpo, the onus was on others to step up.

Khris Middleton and Brook Lopez joint top scored 22 points while Coby White registered 21 points.

Suns 121-100 Jazz

The top two sides battling for the top seed in the Western Conference battled it out at the Talking Stick Resort Arena.

With a monumental win, Suns are marginally above Jazz at the top of the table. The contest saw Devin Booker top score with 31 points while Jazz struggled to keep up, resulting in a 21-point defeat.

Lakers 106-110 Kings

LeBron James returned back to the court following his injury lay-off. The ace player’s return was marred with a close defeat to the Sacramento Kings.

Anthony Davis top scored for Los Angeles Lakers with 22 points. LeBron James played 32 minutes to amass 18 points, 7 assists and 8 rebounds.

Heading into the final quarter, the Lakers had a 10-point lead over the Kings, but ended with a defeat by 4-points.
