NBA Week 13 Mar 15 results: Scores, standings, match summary and highlights

The first matchday of Week 13 of the 2020-21 NBA season has concluded and it’s time to take a look back at the scores and highlights of the matches and standings of the teams.

Hornets 122 – 116 Kings

Charlotte Hornets caught up to Sacramento Kings in the last quarter to seal a win at the Spectrum Center.

Terry Rozier and Gordon Hayward scored 26 and 25 respectively, followed by LaMelo Ball’s 16 points. Kings forward Marvin Bagley III suffered left hand fracture.

Wizards 122 – 133 Bucks

Giannis set a new franchise record with his third straight triple double as Milwaukee Bucks defeated Washington Wizards at the Capital One Arena.

Giannis posted 31 points, 15 rebounds and 10 assists, along with Khris Middleton scoring 23. Russell Westbrook posted a double-double, while Bradley Beal led the hosts with 37 points.

Pistons 99 – 109 Spurs

Detroit Pistons made an effort to catch up to their 20-point deficit before Q4 but San Antonio Spurs held them off at the Little Caesars Arena.

Both Dejounte Murray (19 points, 10 rebounds) and Jakob Poeltl (14 points, 12 rebounds) posted double-doubles for the visitors, while Devin Vassell scored 13 off the bench.

Nets 117 – 112 Knicks

Another triple-double showdown from James Harden paddled Brooklyn Nets to trounce New York Knicks at the Barclays Center.

Harden scored 21 points, 15 rebounds and 15 assists, while Kyrie Irving topped the scores with 34 points, one more than Julius Randle’s 33 for the Knicks.

Mavericks 99 – 109 Clippers

Los Angeles Clippers held onto their realy Q1 lead as Dallas Mavericks failed to catch up to the visitors at the American Airlines Center.

Kawhi Leonard scored 22, along with Ivica Zubac posting 11 rebounds for 15 points. Luka Dončić landed a triple-double for the Mavs.

Nuggets 121 – 106 Pacers

After a neck-to-neck fight in the first three quarters, Denver Nuggets broke away with a Q4 scoring spree to thrash Indiana Pacers at the Ball Arena.

Nikola Jokić scored 32 points plus 14 rebounds and 5 assists, while Michael Porter Jr and Will Barton both scored 20 each. Domantas Sabonis landed a double-double for the visitors.

Suns 122 – 99 Grizzlies

Memphis Grizzlies suffered their third straight defeat as they were outpaced by Phoenix Suns at the Talking Stick Resort Arena.

Devin Booker posted 27 points, followed by Chris Paul scoring 18. Jonas Valančiūnas led the visitors with a double-double.

Warriors 97 – 128 Lakers

Los Angeles Lakers banked on another triple-double from LeBron James as they beat Golden State Warriors at the Chase Center.

LeBron scored 22 points, 10 rebounds and 11 assists, while Talen Horton-Tucker posted 18 points and 10 assists. Montrezl Harrell scored 27 off the bench, tieing with Warriors scoreboard topper Steph Curry.
