Malik Beasley’s nascent marriage life is coming to an end as his wife Montana Yao has reportedly filed for divorce after photos of the Timberwolves shooting guard dating Scottie Pippen’s ex-wife Larsa Pippen were leaked.
Malik Beasley met Montana Yao in 2018 and after two years of staying together, they both united in wedlock earlier this year in March. Unfortunately, the new marriage life did not last long for the couple.
In November, Beasley, 24, was seen dating NBA Hall of Famer Scottie Pippen’s former wife Larsa, 46. In several photos that had been leaked, the two were seen holding hands at a mall in Miami, Florida.

Recently, E! News reported that Yao has decided to get separated from Beasley and has filed for a divorce as soon as the photos came under her notice.
According to the insider from E! News, Montana Yao “never cheated, and it’s not in her character,” and has been “focusing on taking care of her son with her parents.”
Yao and Beasley together had a son named Makai in March 2019, a year before they got married. The 18-months-old boy is currently leaving with her mother, who recently took to Instagram to open up about the entire incident.
“I’ve always and will forever remain true to who I am and GOD has never let me down,” Yao, who is a model by profession, wrote on her Instagram story on 1st December.
“The truth always comes out one way or another. Appreciate all the love y’all for real. Wow… I don’t even know this man..this is wild y’all I’m seeing it for the time just like y’all,” added Yao.
Meanwhile, Larsa and her ex-husband Scottie Pippen’s 20-year-old son Scotty Pippen Jr, who currently plays for Vanderbilt Commodores, recently reacted on her mother’s alleged relationship with Beasley.
“Focused on myself and my goals. I’m not responsible for nobody’s actions. All good over here,” Pippen Jr said a couple of days ago.
Pippen Sr and Larsa were married in 1997 but divorced in 2018.
