Sacramento Kings lost to Milwaukee Bucks in a tight clash tonight and the Kings head coach Mike Brown was not having it with the refereeing decisions. In under 10 minutes from the commencement of the 4th quarter of the game, Mike Brown got hot-headed over a turnover and confronted the officiating referee Intae Hwang.

In the heat of the moment, to avoid any further commotion, Kings players Malik Monk and Trey Lyles held Mike and pulled him away. Malik walked him to the corner of the court, leading him to the locker room.
Mike Brown didn’t make any physical contact with the referee but was visibly furious with the referee. Mike invited an investigation of the incident from the NBA and he might have to pay a hefty fine, hit since he has made no physical contact, a fine can be avoided.
Mike Brown holds nothing back in the post-game conference
Even in the post-game conference, Mike Brown held nothing back. In a lengthy conference, Mike pulled out his laptop to justify his reaction. He commented on how the officiating standard isn’t maintained throughout the game. Mike called out the lack of consistency from the referee and used his laptop to use references.

Mike was ejected from the court for a particular play, which finally made him erupt. In the final quarter, Cam Payne hooked De’Aaron Fox but the referee didn’t blow his whistle, resulting in a no foul and a turnover. Mike compared this to the foul on a three-pointer for little contact in favor of the Bucks, earlier in the game.
Mike even pointed out the difference in the number of free throws between the two franchises. While the Bucks had 19 free throws in the first half of the game, the Kings had just 5. The ejection of coach Mike, however, motivated his players to put on a show for him. They turned on the 12-point lead the Bucks had on them and forced the game into overtime. However, they lost the game by just a point.

Mike Brown joins fellow NBA head coach Marko Rajaković in the list of coaches who lashed out at the refereeing quality. He might, as well, join Darko on the list of coaches to be fined by the NBA. Darko was issued a penalty of $25000 for his tirade against the referees.
