Rhea Ripley to join Monday Night Raw; Mick Foley shares his thoughts
After having quite a run in NXT, Rhea Ripley will be making her way to Monday Night Raw. It was previously reported around the Royal Rumble pay-per-view that The Nightmare would be departing the gold and black brand and will join the main roster.
The official announcement has now been made on this week’s Raw that Ripley will be ‘coming soon’ to the show. The announcement featured a short video package of Ripley.
WWE legend and Hall of Famer Mick Foley took to his Twitter account following the announcement made by WWE. He said that it is important that Ripley should be pushed and should not be in a precarious situation regarding the push. Foley believes that Ripley has the potential to reach the heights of success on the main roster if she is properly used on the show.
He wrote: “It’s vital that @WWE not mess around when it comes to pushing @RheaRipley_WWE
PLEASE don’t allow her to suffer a 50/50 fate.
Strap that rocket to her back, and see how far she can fly.”

Rhea Ripley is one of the rising female stars in WWE and showcased remarkable performance in NXT. She is yet to make the debut on the red brand and the date is yet to be confirmed by WWE.
Rhea Ripley last appeared on WWE programming back in January when she participated in the Women’s Royal Rumble match. Ripley was one of the last two stars left in the ring but was unfortunately eliminated by this year’s winner Bianca Belair.
The Nightmare’s last match in NXT was against Raquel Gonzalez in a Last Woman Standing match at New Year’s Evil which she lost.
She would be a great addition to the roster, more specifically to the women’s division as Ripley is one of the talented stars of this generation. She would be eyeing for the ultimate prize that is the Raw Women’s Championship, currently held by Asuka.
