In 2023, Sherrone Moore took on offensive coordinator duties, contributing to Michigan’s unbeaten season. The Wolverines finished 14th nationally in scoring offense, averaging 35.9 points per game, and displayed offensive prowess in 12 of their 15 games, scoring 30 or more points.
Harbaugh, in his ninth season, led Michigan to the national championship, their first since 1997. Moore and Harbaugh worked closely in the last few years. The coaching transition comes at a crucial time for the Wolverines, who will aim to build on their recent success and continue competing at a high level in college football.
