LeBron James’ Lingering Injury
LeBron James has been dealing with foot soreness for several years now, and it continues to be a challenge he must manage daily. The injury has flared up multiple times, including during the 2022-23 season when he missed time due to a right foot injury. Despite a recent break, James admitted that his left foot issue is not behind him.
Managing the Injury
James took advantage of a nine-day break from the Lakers to focus on rehabilitating his foot and training to stay in game shape. He mentioned that he was able to do a lot of great things during this time, which reassured him about his condition. However, he acknowledged that the injury will require ongoing management.
Return to the Court
James returned to the lineup in a game against the Memphis Grizzlies, where he played 34 minutes and contributed 18 points, eight rebounds, eight assists, one steal, and two blocks. His presence on the court provided a spark for the Lakers, who secured a 116-110 victory.
