WWE Hall Of Famer Kurt Angle has stated that he has joined any other professional wrestling promotion in any capacity as he is still working on something with WWE.

The 1996 Olympic Gold Medalist signed with the World Wrestling Federation (now WWE) in 1998, and since then plied his trade in most major promotions in the world. His Olympic gold medal has frequently been incorporated into his professional wrestling persona. His personality varies depending on his alignment as a face or heel. As a face, he usually performs as a role model, but as a heel, arrogantly uses his achievements to insult other people.

Angle has won the WWE Championship four times, the WCW Championship once, and the World Heavyweight Championship once. He is the tenth Triple Crown Champion and the fifth Grand Slam Champion in WWE history. In TNA / Impact Wrestling, he is a six-time TNA World Heavyweight Champion, and the second Triple Crown winner in TNA history. In total, he has won 13 World Championships. He, alongside Sting, are the only wrestlers to inducted in both WWE and Impact Wrestling’s Hall Of Fames.

Angle spoke of the reason behind him not appearing at any professional wrestling promotion. It seems like he is working on something of a secret project with WWE. However, it is still at a planned stage and has not materialized yet. He also wants to be loyal to WWE because of their kindness shown towards him.

“Well, my relationship with WWE is really good and I like to keep it that way. I don’t have any plans of going to AEW. I haven’t really spoke to them that much. Just a couple messages sent back and forth but nothing serious. I have something going on with WWE right now and it most likely will materialize. I can’t talk about it but that’s what I’m waiting on and I don’t wanna mess that up. The company’s been so good to me and I wanna be loyal to them,” he said.
