Kenny Omega, the AEW star had a recent interview with Forbes and talked about several WWE stars with whom he would love to have bouts with.

Kenny Omega names AJ Styles, The New Day and Seth Rollins

When questioned about naming stars he wants to face from other promotion, Kenny Omega was very clear about his choices. He named stars from WWE and expressed his desire to square off against them somewhere down the road.

First, Omega mentioned about the former WWE Champion, AJ Styles. Styles and Omega have had battles in the past their stint in New Japan Pro Wrestling(NJPW).

He revealed that The Phenomenal One had saved him when he had decided to quit wrestling. AJ Styles was also the leader of Bullet Club and Omega was a part of it at the promotion.

Kenny Omega said, “AJ [Styles] and I worked together in New Japan. He saved me in a lot of ways when I was thinking about possibly getting out of wrestling. He was there for me to help point me in the right direction and I think he would be a great opponent.”

Omega praised The New Day and talked about getting compared with former WWE Universal Champion, Seth Rollins. He is keen to square off against them as well.

He said, “The New Day, those guys would be a lot of fun to work with. I get compared a lot to Seth Rollins. Seth is a great wrestler and I think we could have some really great matches together.”

Kenny Omega has always spoken about keeping the fans on top of his priority list. He had discussed on multiple occasions how the fans are very important when it comes down to wrestling.

During the interview, he cleared himself stating that he wants to have bouts with people having great in-ring talent but also whom the fans would prefer watching.

He said, “I just want to work with good people—not good people in the sense that they’re only talented in the ring, but people who are genuinely good dudes who the fans would want to see me wrestle.”

Kenny Omega added, “At the end of the day, I’d just want to wrestle the opponents who would make fans the most excited because that’s really what it’s all about.”
