Hasbulla Magomedov, the internet’s favourite mixed martial arts icon has just made his first step into the sneaker culture, with his face on some Nike Air Force 1s that has been taking social media by storm.
Hasbulla Force 1: Sneaker culture gets its taste of the Dagestani MMA icon
Designed by Spanish artist MelonKicks, who is well known amidst the sneaker community for creating designs of sportspersons to pop culture on Nike shoes, the “Hasbulla Force 1” shoes feature the 18-year-old Dagestani flexing with his fists on the side of the shoes in a red and white combo.
Already being addressed as the “GOAT” of combat sports, it’s no wonder that having these special Hasbulla edition shoes will make the wearer feel on top of the world, just as “Mini Khabib” currently sits atop the MMA community.
Hasbulla Magomedov and promoter Asxab Tamaev have reportedly split up
A popular social media star in his native place, Hasbulla Magomedov’s worldwide popularity skyrocketed with assistance from Dagestani MMA fighter Asxab Tamaev aka the “Russian KBG Hulk”.
Tamaev is also the promoter of Hasbulla’s much anticipated fight against Kazakhstani rapper Abdu Rozik, and often shares clips of “Mini Khabib” across social media platforms as well as on his official YouTube channel.
Meanwhile, recent reports have claimed that there has been a crack in the relationship between Hasbulla and Tamaev, and the two are not even on speaking terms, which will come as a shocker to ‘Mini Khabib’s fanbase.
Reports suggest that Hasbulla’s near and dear ones have told him that Tamaev is using his popularity to gain online fame but is not paying Hasbulla the money he deserves, as well as saying that the MMA fighter is making a mockery out of him in front of the cameras.
Last week, Tamaev even shared a post on Instagram- a selfie with Hasbulla, but with a saddening caption that signals the end of their partnership.
"Is this really the end of our friendship 😔 ?? I'll tell you everything one of these days !!" the 19 year old shared.
