Finn Balor has spent 1,115 days in NXT, more than anyone in the main roster

Finn Balor, the current NXT star has undoubtedly cemented his place in the gold and black brand. Moreover, as it turns out he has reached a remarkable feat beating his own record in the main roster.

Finn Balor had made his debut in NXT, when it was a developmental territory for WWE. Eventually, he went on to become a great prospect for the company having the NXT Championship around his waist and being at the roster for a couple of years.

He eventually went to the main roster and was drafted to Monday Night Raw. He eventually went on to win the WWE Universal Championship and Intercontinental Championship.

Despite having a fine run in the main roster, he switched to NXT when he made his return after having a short hiatus of two months. As it turns out the Prince has now officially spent more time in NXT than on the main roster.

Finn Balor has spent 1,115 days as a member of the NXT brand of which 445 days of as the NXT Champion. On the other hand, Balor spent 1,112 days as a member of the main roster.

However, many days which have been counted in were from the time when he was injured post winning the Universal Championship and while also being on NXT.

Balor had made his return to WWE programming on 2 October edition of NXT, when he confronted NXT Champion Adam Cole following the latter’s title defense against Matt Riddle. He had officially announced his return to NXT, which now has the recognition of the third brand of the company.

Edge vs Finn Balor?

Recently, Edge, who won the Men’s WWE Royal Rumble match made an appearance in NXT and was involved in a segment with Finn Balor and who knows he might consider challenge for the NXT title.

Balor has accepted Pete Dunne’s challenge to defend the NXT Championship at TakeOver: Vengeance Day which is set to take place on February 14. It is to be seen whether the Prince consider switching brands again and we might see him again in the main roster challenging for the Universal Championship which he never lost or the WWE Championship.
