Football fans have been fuming over the ongoing game between the UNLV Rebels and the Kansas Jayhawks, as they have stormed the social media platforms with claims that the game is rigged, with the refereeing being done in favour of UNLV.

The game is currently into the final quarter, with the Jayhawks leading 49-36, but there have been instances in the game that have instigated the fans that the refereeing being done is biased towards the Rebels.

Jack McGuire of Barstool Sports took to X.com to express his vexation over the Rebels getting benefits from the refs. McGuire pointed out that on one hand, replays of the flags are not being shown, and then on the other, the Rebels are getting the ball at Jayhawks’ 30. He also went on to compare the situation with “Communist China”.

“6.5 point line movement in one day, team from Vegas involved, horrific officiating and no replays. Things that make you go hmmmmmm…..” mentioned @MattKelley1.

@iamJaekwondo wrote, “this is so rigged in UNLV wins this”

“Jack Mac I have UNLV and this is so rigged. I have never seen anything like in my life. WE ARE WATCHING HISTORY” added @Spreadthewealt7.

Kansas gets flagged for personal foul on Cobee Bryant by UNLV’s Tiger Shanks

One of the most striking instances from the Game was the personal foul done on Kansas’ cornerback Cobee Bryant by UNLV’s offensive line Tiger Shanks early in the game. However, it was Kansas who were flagged and not UNLV.

Check out the clip of the same below, courtesy of @KUBurner on X.

Another thing to be noted during the flag was the flop from Bryant, who seemed to be play acting after the foul from Shanks, as fans pointed out that it was a “bad acting job” on the part of Bryant.
