EA Sports revealed the ratings for the upcoming FIFA 21 game. With 26 days remaining for the game’s release, the ratings have not gone down well with fans who have pointed out several flaws with it.

Lionel Messi is the highest-rated player on FIFA 21 with a rating of 92. Juventus ace Cristiano Ronaldo not far behind with a 92 rating. Treble winner Robert Lewandowski, who had the best campaign of his career, is the third highest-rated player with 91.

While the fans lauded the top three, the trouble starts a grade lower. Several fans noted how Arsenal captain Pierre Emerick-Aubameyang was downgraded despite having a stellar campaign which included a FA Cup triumph and a second-place finish in the Premier League golden boot race. The fans noted that Robert Firmino held the same rating of 87 despite only netting 7 goals out of which only one was scored at Anfield.

Moreover, it did not please the fans that Liverpool’s Jordan Henderson and Manchester United’s Paul Pogba shared the same rating of 86.

Serge Gnabry’s electrifying pace did not reflect in his FIFA 21 rating after he was only awarded 82 in the pace section of the card. The same thing was noted with Jadon Sancho as well who was given 83 in the pace department.

Another one of Bayern’s treble winner was not shown justice according to fans. Thiago saw a massive downgrade of 85 from 87 despite having a brilliant campaign at the heart of the pitch.

FIFA 21 botches up big time according to fans

Despite asserting his status as one of the best left-backs in the world with his mind-boggling pace and ability, Alphonso Davies is not off the list of the game’s top twenty full-backs.

Having a brilliant debut campaign for Inter Milan, Romelu Lukaku did not see an upgrade in his FIFA 21 rating and still remains at 85 after a two-point deduction last year.

Breaking the Bundesliga’s assist record, Thomas Muller too does not see an upgrade in his rating.
