Van Gundy’s coaching career boasts impressive accolades. He led the New York Knicks to the NBA Finals in 1999 and is known for his defensive coaching philosophies and his fiery sideline demeanor. His success with the Knicks, coupled with his insightful commentary career at ESPN, has solidified his reputation as a basketball savant.
