One of the everlasting images in NBA history includes the sight of Dwyane Wade sprinting away with arms spread wide as LeBron James leaps to dunk the ball. After over a decade of the origin of that particular image, Dwyane Wade recreated it with his son Zaire in the gym.

The former Miami Heat star is seen re-enacting his role from that incident by pretending to face the crowd while the ball found the basket.

Aspiring basketball player Zaire plays for the Sierra Canyon high school, which LeBron James’ son Bronny also attends. If all goes well, the alley-oop could be passed on to the next generation as well.

The now-iconic image was taken when Miami Heat faced the Milwaukee Bucks on December 10, 2010. The formidable duo of LeBron James and Dwyane Wade took the NBA by storm. The franchise was strengthened with the addition of Chris Bosh. During the four-year spell, they made it to the finals each season and even won the championship nack-to-back in 2012 and 2013.

The Miami Heat legend decided to call it a day following the 2018-19 season. Even though his playing days are over, he took a major step by buying an ownership stake in Utah Jazz.

“This goes way beyond the dream I had to just play basketball in the NBA, “I’ve seen Shaq do it in Sacramento. I’ve seen Grant Hill do it in Atlanta. I’ve seen Jordan do it in Charlotte. If this partnership is going to be anything like my relationship is with Ryan, there are going to be a lot of things that I’ll want to be involved in. Wade had said after buying a share of Utah Jazz.
