American musician Demi Lovato suffered a nasty cut on her face due to an injury just the night before her appearance on Jimmy Kimmel Live! on Thursday and needed to get an immediate stitch-up.

The “La la land” singer made her facial injury public via a clip on her TikTok on Wednesday evening. Lovato sustained the cut just before she was about to be the guest on Jimmy Kimmel Live! on Thursday, but even the stitches weren’t able to keep the injury down. The actor disclosed in a witty and humorous way that the hapless incident was due to a crystal.
“Guess who hit their head on a crystal and has to get stitches before Kimmel tomorrow???” Lovato captioned the video, by divulging a painful-looking cut above her eyebrow as the viral “They’re Gonna Know” track plays. “Nobody’s gonna know,” the audio begins, as a second voice persuades, “They’re gonna know,” and the first once again asks, “how would they know?” The clip ended with Lovato uttering the f-word which depicts the unfortunate time of the accident.
The 29-year-old is set to release her new single “Substance” on Friday and she took to Instagram to preview the track with the following caption, “FVCK the theatrics, what happened to classic? Did you Pre-Save?” Lovato’s elicited fans were high on heels about the new track, and commented, “ROCKVATO IS BACK,” as well as, “It’s giving La La Land Pt 2.”
