Dax Harwood calls WWE coward for not inducting Midnight Express into HOF

The AEW star Dax Harwood is part of FTR with Cash Wheeler and they are one of the best tag teams in the world. Harwood, who is active on social media, never holds back from putting his opinion in front. He recently took a shot at his former employer, WWE for not inducting the Midnight Express along with Jim Cornette into the WWE Hall of Fame.

FTR could be named among the top tag-teams in pro wrestling. Currently signed with AEW, they had immediately made an impact following their arrival and won the AEW World Tag Team Championships.

WWE is celebrating Tag Team Week all week long on Peacock, the WWE Network and all social/digital platforms.

Now, WWE Network’s Twitter handle took to their Twitter account and mentioned the legendary rivalry between The Midnight Express and The Rock ‘n’ Roll Express during the 1980s and asked the fans to choose between the two teams.

Dax Harwood had replied to the Tweet in bitter words, as he called WWE ‘cowards’ for not inducting The Midnight Express into the WWE Hall Of Fame.

Dax Harwood wrote: “Put the Midnight Express w/ Jim Cornette in your Hall of Fame you cowards!!!!”

The Midnight Express was a successful Tag Team in in Mid-South Wrestling, World Class Championship Wrestling and Jim Crockett Promotions. However, they never got the opportunity to work in WWE. The popular incarnation of the team were Dennis Condrey and Bobby Eaton, and later Eaton and Stan Lane.

WWE recognized the inaugural World Tag Team Champions as Luke Graham and Tarzan Tyler, who were crowned on June 3, 1971 after their win in the tournament against The Sheik and Dick the Bruiser. They had held the titles for 185 days and lost the titles to Karl Gotch and Rene Goulet.

The tag team titles were on the line during this week’s edition of WWE NXT, RAW and SmackDown RAW saw AJ Styles and Omos successfully defend the RAW Tag Team Titles against Elias and Jaxson Ryker.

NXT Tag Team Champions were defended by MSK against Legado del Fantasma on Tuesday night and on Friday’s SmackDown on FOX SmackDown Tag Team Champions Rey Mysterio and Dominik Mysterio successfully retained against The Usos.
