Danny Rose is seen storming out of Jose Mourinho’s office after a stone-cold talk over the player’s game-time in the latest set of episodes of the documentary, All Or Nothing. The left-back had approached his manager for a showdown talk regarding his place in the team.

Much like the previous episodes, the newly released episodes of All Or Nothing: Tottenham Hotspurs have been gaining lots of attention. The latest string of episodes shows how things work around the London club on and off the pitch.

One such instance includes an intense discussion between out of favour Danny Rose and the ‘Special One’. The 30-year-old had come in early into the training centre to meet Jose Mourinho.

After requesting for a talk, Rose proceeded to ask the Portuguese manager as to what is wrong. While Mourinho failed to comprehend the question, Rose demanded an explanation as to why he is not in the team. He said:

“You know exactly what I mean, how I’m being treated.”

“I was very excited when you came as a manager, but if you don’t want me to play, I’d rather you just tell me now, and I’ll stay at home gaffer, and I’ll train at home.

Mourinho in response replied that Rose deserves an honest opinion. He said that the left-back’s efforts in training prior to the Liverpool game was commendable and hence he was rewarded with a start. However, the poor performance in that game got him dropped again.

While Rose accepted that he was not at his best against the league leaders, he questioned how can he perform at his best when he is selected sporadically.

“I respect what you’re saying about I didn’t play well against Liverpool, which is true, but I play once every four weeks.

“Do you want me to be the man of the match and give my best performance when I play one game and then I don’t play again for three or four weeks?”

Rose added that others have not been at their best in training or on the pitch and yet they have retained their place on the team sheet. He added:

“The defence has kept two clean sheets, they play every game. It’s not fair.

“I wasn’t good against Liverpool, it wasn’t my best game, you are right and I respect what you say but other people have been s*** in training, s*** in games, but are in the squad every game. It’s not fair.

The left-back, in the end, asked to meet with chairman Daniel Lewy before storming out of the office.
