Chase Briscoe pulled off an amazing wheelie in the Midgets Race of Champions Qualifying amidst a close lap while he was 2nd to fellow NASCAR driver Jesse Love. The risky and yet beautiful maneuver from Briscoe is a testament to his great driving skills.
Chase Briscoe is the driver of the No.14 Stewart Haas Racing Ford Mustang in the NASCAR Cup Series. He has competed in the Chili Bowl since 2015 in hopes of becoming one of the top drivers in the dirt racing circuit.

Some are genuinely confused as to how the wheelie works. A particular confused fan tweeted “Chase, does this affect your speed at all? Do you turn faster or slower laps doing a wheelie? I need to know 😂”

In the preliminary night kickoff for the Chili Bowl 2024, Briscoe put up a valiant fight against Shane Golobic and Michael Peckins as he settled for 4th at the end of the 30 laps. Starting from the 12th position, Briscoe did great. This performance earns him a spot in one of the two B Mains on Saturday. A 7th or better-ranked finish in this race will advance him to the 55-lap championship that headlines the Chili Bowl Nationals.
Chase Briscoe also participated in the annual Race of Champions. It is an invite-only race that pits the champion drivers of the dirt racing community. Briscoe finished 5th as the defending champion of the Chili Bowl, Logan Seavey clinched the first position.
Briscoe has been unlucky in his previous participation in the tournament. The most notable of his frustrating 8-year participation has been the 3 consecutive years from 2019 to 2021 where he missed the final race by just a single point. Briscoe would look to take control this time as he enters the finale on Saturday.
