Portuguese International Nélson Semedo has completed his switch from Barcelona to the Premier League as he joins Wolves.

Nélson Semedo, the former Barcelona defender joined Wolves after the Catalonian club announced that they have agreed on a deal with the Premier League side.
Wolves paid €30 million-plus €10m in variables as they bag the signing of the defender.
The La Liga side made an announcement on Twitter on Tuesday regarding the Portuguese defender’s move to the Molineux Stadium.

The club’s website read, “FC Barcelona would like to publicly express their gratitude to Nélson Semedo for his commitment and dedication and wishes him all the best for the future.”

He will join the Portuguese stars, Pedro Neto, Ruben Neves, Rui Patrici, Joao Moutinho and play under the guidance of the Wolves’ boss, Nuno Espirito Santo.

Wolves kicked off their Premier 2020/21 campaign with a 2-0 victory against Sheffield United and they are currently at 12th position in the league table.
Nélson Semedo signed with Barcelona in the summer transfer window in 2017, arriving from Benfica. He spent three seasons with the club and has enjoyed a trophy-winning stint.
He made 124 appearances in the Blaugrana shirt and has scored a couple of goals for the club.
Nélson Semedo has major trophies to his accolades during his three years spell at Barcelona namely, two La Liga titles, Copa del and Rey Supercopa de España which he won once.
Barcelona boss, Ronald Koeman is eyeing to raise funds to boost up his team as he continues on with his mission of rebuilding the Barcelona squad. The departure of the Portuguese International leaves him with the only option or right back in Sergi Roberto.
Memphis Depay and Eric Garcia are the two targets of the Dutch who are heavily linked with the club. Sergio Dest and Max Aarons are linked with the Catalonian club as well.
