It is just three weeks to go until his WWE deal expires and as per the latest indications, Cole could be parting ways with WWE at the end of his contract. If Cole does not pen down a fresh deal with WWE and lets his contract expire there will not be a no-compete clause, which means he would be free to appear for another company as soon as he would want.

Cole has been in the top-tier of the gold and black brand. He was able to achieve a lot on the brand and led The Undisputed Era to become one of the dominant stables in the history of WWE. He has been heavily featured in the main-event picture of the brand and WWE should immediately strike a new deal with the star but as of now, his future in WWE remains in the air.
