NASCAR Regional recently shared a post on X to confirm the champion’s entry in NASCAR this Saturday at Martinsville. The two-time zMAX CARS Tour Late Model Stock Car champion is poised to make his NASCAR Xfinity Series debut at the iconic Martinsville Speedway on April 6, steering the wheel of JR Motorsports’ No. 88 Chevrolet.
As the green flag drops at Martinsville, all eyes will be on Carson Kvapil and JRM’s commitment to nurturing young talent and propelling them forward in the sport.
Who is Carson Kvapil?
Carson’s roots trace back to Mooresville, North Carolina, where he honed his skills in the Late Models. His impressive track record includes back-to-back championships, nine wins, 27 top-five finishes, and a staggering 951 laps led across 34 starts in the CARS Tour.
Carson’s father, Travis Kvapil, made his NASCAR Cup Series debut at Martinsville back in 2004, adding a poetic twist to Carson’s own Xfinity debut at the same hallowed track. With experience racing at Martinsville in Late Models, Carson aims to hit the ground running with JRM in April. His journey from local tracks to the national stage exemplifies the essence of JRM’s commitment to nurturing young talent and propelling them forward in the sport.
