Traditionally, Easter has been a time for families to come together, celebrate, and observe religious traditions. As per the post of “Dirty Mo Media” Jeff Gluck posed a question on why should NASCAR race on Easter. The co-host Jordan Bianchi wasn’t surprised by the Easter NASCAR race and he also talked about the famous games that also take place on Easter such as the NBA and NFL.

Jordan Bianchi also shared he used to watch the matches on Easter with his father and unlike other sports, NASCAR doesn’t race on a typical daytime when people are busy with their festival. NASCAR races are typically held at night after most viewers have finished their Easter celebrations. He further talked about how the NFL shifts their Wednesday match to Christmas day because they just want to win and celebrate.

Denny Hamlin celebrated the feat of aster weekend

On Easter night, Denny Hamlin secured a thrilling victory at Richmond Raceway during the Toyota Owners 400. His No. 11 Joe Gibbs Racing team executed a crucial pit stop, allowing him to emerge as the leader after exiting the pits. In a nail-biting two-lap overtime shootout, Hamlin held onto his advantage and clinched the win at his home track.

This marked his 53rd career NASCAR Cup Series win, his second of the season, and his fifth victory at the 0.75-mile Richmond oval. He crossed the finish line just 0.269 seconds ahead of Team Penske’s Joey Logano. Unfortunately for his JGR teammate, Martin Truex Jr., who had led an impressive 228 of the race’s 407 laps, the late caution and pit stop shuffle cost him the win, and he finished fourth.
