The undisputed heavyweight title fight between Tyson Fury and Oleksandr Usyk will take place no later than March 4, according to the Ukrainian’s manager, Alex Krassyuk.
Krassyuk stated that the fight will likely take place in early 2023 and that both sides are ready for that date.
“Both parties agreed to fight.” he revealed on Instagram, “(Tyson Fury vs. Oleksandr Usyk) should happen no later than March 4. Location: Any place in the Universe.” [H/T Mirror Online]
It should be remembered. that after so many statements via social networks between Fury and Usyk, both boxers faced each other when Gypsy King defeated Derek Chisora by technical knockout.
Later, the Ukrainian went up to the ring and there he had a heated confrontation against the Englishman, who, as usual, began to yell many curses.
Similarly, Usyk’s manager argued that all parties want the undisputed battle to take place as soon as possible. “The sooner, the better,” he emphatically declared to the English outlet.
When asked about a possible location, he added, “If Saudi want to grab it – they have to be faster. Otherwise it will land elsewhere (i.e. Emirates, Qatar or UK).”
Krassyuk also stated that Fury is fine, despite Gypsy King previously stating that he would need surgery before facing Usyk.
