In the main event, Roman Reigns (accompanied by Paul Heyman) defended the Universal Championship against his cousin Jey Uso. Reigns dominated Jey in the beginning and wanted Jey to address him as the “Tribal Chief” and the head of the family. Jey refused and eventually made a comeback, but during a pin attempt, Reigns performed a low blow on Jey when he kicked out of the pin. Reigns then continued to assert his dominance on Jey, who refused to give in to Reigns’ demands.

Jey’s injured brother Jimmy Uso then came out, ready to throw in the towel, but Jey begged him not to. Reigns then furiously beat down Jey, forcing Jimmy to throw in the towel, thus Reigns retained by technical knockout. Following the match, Jimmy tended to Jey and reluctantly told Reigns that he was the chief.

After his win, Roman Reigns posted on Instagram, “Levels. #TribalChief #WWEClash.” To it, The Brahma Bull replied, “Same game, different levels. Same hell, different devils. Heard you two tore the house down.”

Roman Reigns is related to The Uso Brothers and The Rock, as he is to Umaga, Yokozuna, Rikishi, Afa, Sika, Nia Jax and some other wrestlers as they are all part of the Anoa’i Family. WWE superstar Naomi, through his marriage to Jimmy Uso, is also a part of the family.

Roman Reigns VS The Rock Seems To Be WWE’s Plan For Mania

The Rock has always been open to a Wrestlemania showdown against Roman Reigns and many fans believe that the company is leading the storylines up to the marquee match, with Reigns’s status as the villainous champion and the emphasis on his family ties.

“Feels like the one that would make sense, right, would be Roman. In terms of box-office draw… I know how that conversation goes. ‘Listen, here’s what we’re thinking. Roman beats you now at this WrestleMania. But, listen, before you guys say anything. Then on the next one…that’s when… But you know what, the truth is, I would be honored not only to share the ring with Roman and to go back to the WWE. But of course, I would be honored to have him raise his hand in that one.” The Rock commented.
