Shaquille O’Neal, aka Shaq, had been trying to sell his Florida mansion for the past three years. In a span of three years, five agents tried to sell the property but to no avail. Finally, Benjamin Hillman of Premier Sotheby’s International Realty was the one to do it. The mansion sold for $11 million dollars which is more than 50% discount. O’Neal bought the property for $3.95 million in the 90s and he had listed the property with a price tag of $28 million. The 31,000 square feet property has everything that a man needs from a 6,000-square-foot basketball court which has been designed keeping in mind the Miami heat, wine cellar, cigar room, 17 car showroom, recording studio, theatre, aquarium and safe room. That’s not all, the aquarium features hieroglyphics and apparently the swimming pool is named “Shaq-apulco”.

Endless Shaq references

The living room has a giant Shaq mural and the mirrored walls of the car showroom have the superman logo. The primary suite and the office is 44-foot-long and the floor is covered with cheetah printed carpets. The mansion also has a grand foyer with not one but two mahogany staircases. The place has enough rooms and bathrooms to host an entire country.

There is also a tiki themed cabana and a private dock. The whole place offers a spectacular view of the Lake Butler. Safety is not issue at all. The property has smart gates and a 10 foot long walk to keep outsiders out of the place. There are 18 cctv cameras on the outside and 15 CCTV cameras on the inside.
