In a recent interview, “The Legit Boss” Sasha Banks revealed that she has a great relationship with Vince McMahon and trusts his influence on her in-ring character to the point that she will do whatever he asks her to do.
BANKS TRUSTS MCMAHON’S INFLUENCE ON HER CHARACTERIZATION
While speaking to Bleacher Report, Banks was asked about her breakup with longtime friend Bayley. It was a moment which everyone predicted for a long time and questions arise whether it could have been done months earlier to produce a greater creative value.
Banks commented that whatever Vince wants to do, she would let him do. Any direction he provides her with she would strive to turn into excellence. She then went on to show the statistics from YouTube, where videos involving the former Boss N Hug Connection are some of the most viewed videos posted by WWE. She then went on to emphasize that McMahon is, indeed, the creator and she looks forward to him asking her to go to a direction.
“Whatever Vince wants, that’s what I’m going to do. Anything he gives me, I want to take it and make it as magical as I can make it. I won’t just take a storyline and say, ‘OK, let me just go through it.’ How can I make it the best? How can I make it the most talked-about and the most watched? As you can see, it is. We are the most viewed. We are the highest rated. I have to put in the work, but Vince is the creator. He has to tell me what he wants, and I’m going to create that magic,” she said.
BANKS MAINTAINS A CLOSE RELATIONSHIP WITH MCMAHON
This is not the first time she has spoken about a close relationship with Vince. While the relationship of employees to McMahon is not always, take for example the situation of Zelina Vega, who was escorted out of the building for daring to ask to meet her boss, despite being called a favourite by McMahon himself, Banks has revealed that the two even exchange texts every day.
