Ryan Garcia has issued the latest warning to grudge rival Gervonta Davis that he will not only defeat him easily but also assured that he will give ‘Tank’ a painful punishment.

Garcia vs. Davis has become one of the most anticipated fights on the professional circuit today. The fight has been in conversation for quite some time and only recently, the two have been slated for a catchweight 136-Pound bout in Las Vegas in April next year.

During an interview with ESPN’s Stephen A Smith, Garcia shared how important it is for him to face ‘Tank, revealing that he sought this duel to add it to his professional record from a very young age.

“I asked for this fight since I was 17 or 18 years old,” said Garcia, “I guess he always wanted to take the easier route, which is fine. You can see, by their opposition. Finally, it’s here. All I have to say is that it doesn’t matter now. Fights happen. I’ll give him a beating.”

Ryan Garcia has to wait for Davis to beat another ‘Garcia’ in January

However, for the Garcia vs. Davis fight to take place, the latter must first beat Dominican Hector Luis Garcia, whom he will face on January 7, 2023. Both, just like ‘KingRy’, are undefeated.

‘The Android’ thinks that Davis underestimates him, ahead of the fight that both boxers will star in on the evening of January 7, 2023, in Washington.

“Tank thinks that it is a very easy fight, but I take this opportunity with all my desire, and that’s it,” Luis Garcia said recently, “He already has a fight with Ryan Garcia, as happened with Chris Colbert. They think I’m going to be an easy opponent, and that gives me more energy to show him that I can beat him.”
