After months and months of speculation, it has been decided that Gervonta Davis and Ryan Garcia will finally have their much-awaited grudge battle on April 22nd at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas.
Following the confirmation of one of the most anticipated fights of modern boxing today, Las Vegas was mentioned as the venue, but the venue was yet to be announced.
The Raiders’ Allegiant Stadium and MGM Grand Arena were among the options, but ultimately the famed T-Mobile Arena was chosen, as announced by Premier Boxing Champions and Showtime.
Thus, there will be about 21,000 spectators who enter to witness one of the most anticipated fights of 2023, between two undefeated boxers who will meet in a fight agreed at 136 pounds.

Gervonta, the current WBA lightweight champion, will enter this bout with a 28-0 record, with 26 knockout victories. He last fought at the venue back in August 2017 defeating Francisco Fonseca, on the undercard of Floyd Mayweather Jr vs. Conor McGregor.
Ryan García, with a record of 23-0 and 19 knockouts, was on the venue back in May 2017 and marked a win over Tyrone Luckey, when Canelo defeated Julio César Chávez Jr.
While the price of the tickets is not yet confirmed, but it is mentioned that it may go from 205 dollars all the way up to 5,005 bucks.
Although a fight like Davis and Garcia doesn’t need promotion, both fighters will break their camps for two conferences this week. It will be on Wednesday when they see each other for the first time in New York, heading to the event that Showtime and PBC will organize in pay per view.
A day later they will see each other again, but in Los Angeles, where they will close the two-day promotional tour and thus leave everything ready for the fight. At the end of the two conferences they will return to their training camps for the contest on April 22, for which Gervonta is a slight favorite in the odds.
