Juventus secured their ninth consecutive Serie A title despite shaky form after the restart. Cristiano Ronaldo played an instrumental role in Juventus’ success and celebrated the title victory on his lavish yacht with family.
The winger flaunted his new yacht in the water which was purchased in June 2019. The yacht, which is nothing short of a gem in his glamorous lifestyle has five cabins, six bathrooms, and a kitchen.
The family were spotted in the Azimut-Benetti shipyards in Viareggio. Ronaldo’s partner Georgina Rodriguez shared several pictures on Instagram which showed the family spending some quality time in the luxurious yacht.
Fans weren’t too behind as they swam up to the yacht and proceeded to chant his name in the waters. Fans missed out on Juventus’ success due to the coronavirus pandemic but made most of the opportunity within the vicinity of their star player.
Ronaldo posted an image of him with his family along with the caption “Nothing better than celebrate your victories with the ones you love.”
Ronaldo and Juventus inconsistent ahead of Champions League
Juventus managed to thrust off title challengers to win the Serie A with two games remaining. However, right after winning the title, Juventus lapsed to a 2-0 defeat against Cagliari which throws concerns towards their Champions League campaign which already has a setback in the form of a 1-0 deficit to Lyon in the Round of 16.
Speaking after the defeat, Sarri complained about the fixture congestion and hinted that he will play the U23s in Juventus’ final league game against Roma.
“We had we injured players and we came off a championship win 68 hours ago, so it was an atypical game that should be taken for what it is.
“We must become more solid. But we are the only ones in Europe who have played five games in 12 days, the league has created huge problems for us.
“Let’s see how we are tomorrow and if it is appropriate to deploy the Under-23s on Saturday against Roma to make the best recovery.”
“Cristiano was very motivated, he wanted to play because he felt good and ready to play.”
Ronaldo netted 31 league goals in 33 appearances this season and is only behind Ciro Immobile who leads the charts with 34 goals to his name.
