The Undisputed WWE Universal Champion Roman Reigns is not returning anytime soon. Reports suggest that his in-ring return is reportedly set for November when WWE heads to Saudi Arabia.
Roman Reigns will return in Saudi Arabia show
On Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Dave Meltzer reported that Undisputed WWE Universal Champion Roman Reigns could have his next match at the WWE Premium Live Event in Saudi Arabia on November 4.
WWE’s return to Saudi Arabia on November 4 was previously reported by Brandon Thurston of Wrestlenomics. WWE has not officially announced an event in Saudi for November.
This would mark the second Saudi show for the company in 2023. WWE has been running two shows per year in Saudi Arabia since 2018, with the exceptions being 2020 and 2021 due to COVID.
Meltzer suggested that the exact date of Reigns’ return to the on-screen programming is not known. However, he will be back ahead of the premium live event to promote the match.
Reigns last wrestled at WWE SummerSlam on August 5. He defeated Jey Uso in a Tribal Combat match to retain the Undisputed WWE Universal Championship. It was reported that Reigns suffered an injury during the match. Fightful Select had confirmed that news. He then appeared on the August 11 episode of WWE SmackDown, but he has been absent ever since.
We will now have to wait and see if he actually makes his return in November.
