Pro wrestling personalities like Triple H, Chris Jericho, Cody Rhodes and Brandi Rhodes made their presence known during the recently concluded Super Bowl at Raymond James Stadium in Tampa, Florida.
TAMPA RAY BUCCANEERS WENT ON TO WIN THE TROPHY
In the match, The National Football Conference (NFC) champion Tampa Bay Buccaneers defeated the American Football Conference (AFC) champion Kansas City Chiefs, 31–9.
The halftime show was performed by The Weeknd. The performance featured a choir whose members wore bandages over their faces, in keeping with images of recent music videos by the Weeknd, standing within a backdrop of a neon cityscape.
WWE usually gifts the winning team of the Super Bowl, and of other major sports events, a high-end replica of the WWE Championship. Tampa Buccaneers received one such belt, given to them by Triple H himself.
ROB GRONKOWSKI IS AN IMPORTANT MEMBER OF THE WINNING TEAM
Rob Gronkowski is an important member of the winning team, and he has long been associated with WWE. Gronkowski first made a cameo appearance during the André the Giant Memorial Battle Royal at WrestleMania 33 in 2017. He hosted WrestleMania 36 and won the WWE 24/7 Championship on the second day of the event. He went on to become the longest reigning holder of the Championship before losing it to R-Truth.Later that year he won a Slammy Award as Celebrity of the Year in WWE.
WWE actually managed to sign Gronkowski to a contract. However, he was released less than two months later in order for him to focus on his NFL career.

His NFL career was one of a ruthless competitor, and he brought that to WWE the second he got the chance, winning the 24/7 Championship from Rawley in the middle of hosting the historic, two-part WrestleMania 36. Now, we are all fiesta,” his bio in WWE’s official website states.
JERICHO, CODY AND BRANDI RHODES WERE ALSO PRESENT
Chris Jericho was excited to watch his very first Super Bowl from a stadium. Also present were fellow AEW personalities Cody and Brandi Rhodes.
Cody is currently in a rivalry against Team Taz, comprising of Taz, Brian Cage, Ricky Starks, the recent turncoat Will Hobbs and even Taz’s son.
