Ahead of the match between Manchester United and Crystal Palace, Patrice Evra praised Wilfried Zaha.
The French International said, “He’s really clever. You have to give him the keys because all Crystal Palace fans know that Wilfried Zaha is better than Crystal Palace, with all due respect. But he’s such an electric player.”
However, Wilfried Zaha had denied the rumours of the affair to be true. He said, “Up to this day I still get people that think that’s true and I’ve never even met his daughter.”
The 27-year-old striker said, “There were just a load of rumours that used to just come out somehow and people would believe them.”
Wilfried Zaha was the last player bought by Sir Alex Ferguson at Manchester United but his potential was not fully utilized by David Moyes who succeeded the Scot. He was handed only four appearances for the club.
The striker soon left Old Trafford following the sacking of David Moyes and signed with Crystal Palace in 2015. He became a top star striker for The Eagles.
On his two spells with the club, he has made 364 appearances and netted 18 goals. His latest goals were tallied after his brace against Manchester United on Saturday night at Old Trafford.
