The fourth matchday of Week 9 of the 2020-21 NBA season has concluded and it’s time to take a look back at the scores and highlights of the matches and standings of the teams.
Bucks 96 – 110 Raptors
An early first half scoring spree powered Toronto Raptors to pace ahead of Milwaukee Bucks for the second straight time in their rematch as the hosts succumb to their fifth consecutive loss at the Fiserv Forum.
Norman Powell topped the visitors scoreline with 29 points, in addition to Pascal Siakam landing 27 points, 6 rebounds and 5 assists, negating the double-double from Giannis who posted 23 points, 12 rebounds and 8 assists.
Kings 110 – 118 Heat
The triple-double duo of Jimmy Butler and Bam Adebayo cruised Miami Heat to a comfortable win over Sacramento Kings at the Golden 1 Center.
Butler, who set a franchise record with his third straight triple, secured 13 points, 10 rebounds and 13 assists, while Adebayo finished with 12 rebounds and 10 assists for a score of 16. Kelly Olynyk contributed 22 points.
Lakers 98 – 109 Nets
Los Angeles Lakers got the ultimate upset at the hands of a dominating Brooklyn Nets who thrashed the hosts at the Staples Center.
While LeBron James, scoring 32 in the game, made history as the third NBA player to clock 35k career points, the squad was outplayed with James Harden leading from the front with 23 points, 5 rebounds and 11 points, setting a franchise record as his 11th straight double double. Joe Harris put up 21 points, in addition to 16 from Kyrie Irving.
