The second matchday of Week 20 of the 2020-21 NBA season has concluded and it’s time to take a look back at the scores and highlights of the matches and standings of the teams.

Pistons 99 – 102 Hornets

Detroit Pistons lost to Charlotte Hornets for the second time within three days as the visitors edged out with a win at the Little Caesars Arena.

LaMelo Ball led the scoring with 23 points, 7 rebounds and 6 assists, while Jalen McDaniels posted 10 points and 12 rebounds.

Cavaliers 118 – 134 Suns

Despite an appreciable fight from the struggling Cleveland Cavaliers, Phoenix Suns took a 16-point advantage in OT to finish with a victory at the Quicken Loans Arena.

Devin Booker finished with 31 points, 6 rebounds and 5 assists, while Chris Paul added his double-double of 23 points and 16 assists.

Bucks 124 – 118 Nets

A remarkable back and forth against the Brooklyn Nets saw Milwaukee Bucks finishing with a victory at the Fiserv Forum as they secured their NBA playoff spot.

Giannis led the hosts with 36 points and 12 rebounds, countering Kyrie Irving’s 38-point rally. Jrue Holiday added 23 points and 10 assists.

Pelicans 108 – 103 Warriors

New Orleans Pelicans altered the results in their rematch against Golden State Warriors, holding off the visitors at the Smoothie King Center.

Lonzo Ball clocked 33 points, while Zion Williamson added 23 points and 12 rebounds. Steph Curry scored 37.

Heat 113 – 127 Mavericks

A Jimmy Butler-less Miami Heat were conquered by Dallas Mavericks as the latter picked up their 37th win of this NBA season at the AmericanAirlines Arena.

Tim Hardaway Jr posted 36 points, while Luka Doncic followed up with 23 points and 12 rebounds.

Thunder 99 – 103 Kings

Sacramento Kings marked their third straight victory after narrowly edging out Oklahoma City Thunder at the Chesapeake Energy Arena.

A total of 7 Kings players scored in double digits with Buddy Hield and Delon Wright postting double-doubles.

Clippers 105 – 100 Raptors

Los Angeles Clippers clocked a .667 pct this NBA season after holding off Toronto Raptors at the Staples Center.

Paul George and Marcus Morris Sr both scored 22 points each. Fred VanVleet posted 27 points and 13 assists for the visitors.
