NBA Week 17 April 15 Results: Scores, standings, match summary and highlights

The fourth matchday of Week 17 of the 2020-21 NBA season has concluded and it’s time to take a look back at the scores and highlights of the matches and standings of the teams.

Hawks 109 – 120 Bucks

Milwaukee Bucks celebrated the return of team stalwart Giannis Antetokounmpo to their ranks as they picked up a comfortable victory over Atlanta Bucks at the State Farm Arena.

Giannis scored 15, while Jrue Holiday topped the visitors with 23 points. Brook Lopez picked up a double-double with 19 points and 12 rebounds. Bogdan Bogdanović scored 28 for the Hawks.

Cavaliers 101 – 119 Warriors

Golden State Warriors marked their 4th straight victory and their 28th overall win of this NBA season as they thrashed the Cleveland Cavaliers at the Quicken Loans Arena.

Steph Curry, now the NBA’s second leading scorer, finished tonight’s game with 33 points with 12-of-25 shooting from the field. Andrew Wiggins posted 23, while Collin Sexton scored 30 for the Cavs.

Lakers 113 – 121 Celtics

Los Angeles Lakers unsung the return of their fans to the stands as they were handed a major upset at the hands of Jaylen Brown and the rest of Boston Celtics at the Staples Center.

Brown topped the scoreboard with a stunning 40-point performance along with 9 rebounds, while both Jayson Tatum and Tristan Thompson posted 14 points each. Marcus Smart scored 15.

Suns 122 – 114 Kings

After a neck-to-neck tussle in the first three quarters, Phoenix Suns finally pulled away in the 4th and final quarter as they marked their 40th win of this NBA season over the Sacramento Kings at the Talking Stick Resort Arena.

Deandre Ayton led the hosts with 26 points and 11 rebounds, followed by 23 points from Devin Booker. Chris Paul posted 13 points added with 11 rebounds. De’Aaron Fox scored 27 for the Kings.
