NBA Week 16 April 6 Results: Scores, standings, match summary and highlights

The second matchday of Week 16 of the 2020-21 NBA season has concluded and it’s time to take a look back at the scores and highlights of the matches and standings of the teams.

Pacers 97 – 113 Bulls

Chicago Bulls rallied in the second and third quarter to keep themselves ahead despite Indiana Pacers’ catchup attempt ta the end as the visitors sealed a win at the Bankers Life Fieldhouse.

Nikola Vucevic posted a stunning 32 points and 17 rebounds, while Zach LaVine followed with 19 points.

Raptors 101 – 110 Lakers

Despite an effort in the second half, Toronto Raptors failed to catch up to the Los Angeles Lakers as they walked out as winners from the Amalie Arena.

The young Talen Horton-Tucker clocked 17 points, while Markieff Morris posted 15 points and 9 rebounds.

Hawks 123 – 107 Pelicans

Atlanta Hawks set a new 3-point scoring record as they thrashed New Orleans Pelicans at the State Farm Arena.

Trae Young led the hosts with 30 points and 12 rebounds, while Bogdan Bogdanović scored 21. Clint Capela landed 12 points and 12 rebounds.

Celtics 96 – 106 76ers

Philadelphia 76ers had a comfortable win over Boston Celtics, stretching to their 35th win of this NBA season at the TD Garden.

Joel Embiid clocked 35 points, along with Danny Green scoring 17. Tobias Harris landed 10 points, 8 rebounds and 4 assists.

Heat 112 – 124 Grizzlies

Despite Bam Adebayo’s triple-double, Miami Heat succumbed to a defeat at the hands of Memphis Grizzlies at the AmericanAirlines Arena.

Dillon Brooks scored 28, while a double-double from Jonas Valančiūnas contributed 20 points and 10 rebounds.

Nuggets 134 – 119 Pistons

Denver Nuggets’ scoring spree in the first half kept themselves ahead of Detroit Pistons to victory at the Ball Arena.

Nikola Jokić landed 27 points, 8 rebounds and 11 assists. Michael Porter Jr landed 25 points, one more than Will Barton.

Clippers 133 – 116 Trail Blazers

Los Angeles Clippers started off with a 42-point first quarter and ended on a lead to trounce Portland Trail Blazers at the Staples Center.

Paul George topped the scoring with 36 points, added with Kawhi Leonard’s 29 points and 12 rebounds.

Warriors 122 – 121 Bucks

Steph Curry’s 41-point performance edged Golden State Warriors following a neck to neck battle against a Giannis-less Milwaukee Bucks at the Chase Center.

Alongside Curry, James Wiseman posted 13 points and 10 rebounds. Jrue Holiday and Khris Middleton scored 29 and 28 points for the visitors respectively.
