The second matchday of Week 15 of the 2020-21 NBA season has concluded and it’s time to take a look back at the scores and highlights of the matches and standings of the teams.
Wizards 104 – 114 Hornets
Despite Russell Westbrook landing a triple-double once again, Washington Wizards were held off by Charlotte Hornets comfortably at the Capital One Arena.
Terry Rozier led the visitors with 27 points, while Gordon Hayward landed 26 points and 11 rebounds. Cody Zeller scored 16 points and clocked 13 rebounds off the bench.
Nuggets 104 – 95 76ers
A 44-point first quarter saw Denver Nuggets taking a 22 point lead over Philadelphia 76ers who never managed to catch up to the hosts at the Ball Arena.
Jamal Murray topped the scoreboard with 30, while Michael Porter Jr posted 12 rebounds for 27 points. Nikola Jokic scored 21 points and 10 rebounds.
Suns 117 – 110 Hawks
Phoenix Suns had seven players landing double-digit scores as they trounced Atlanta Hawks to clinch their 32nd win of this NBA season at the Talking Stick Resort Arena.
Devin Booker scored 21, one more than Dario Saric. Jae Crowder followed with 19 points while Deandre Ayton posted 13 points and 14 rebounds.
Clippers 96 – 103 Magic
Los Angeles Clippers were handed a staggering upset at the hands of the struggling Orlando Magic who edged out the hosts at the Staples Center.
Chuma Okeke landed 18 points for the visitors, along with Terrence Ross scoring 15. Clippers had Kawhi Leonard scoring 28, with a double-double from Ivica Zubac.
