NBA Week 10 Feb 23 results: Scores, standings, match summary and highlights

The second matchday of Week 10 of the 2020-21 NBA season has concluded and it’s time to take a look back at the scores and highlights of the matches and standings of the teams.

Magic 93 – 105 Pistons

A third-quarter rally helped Detroit Pistons pull ahead of Orlando Magic, avenging their Sunday defeat at the Amway Center.

Saben Lee led the visitors with 21 points, followed by Josh Jackson’s score of 18. Mason Plumlee posted 12 rebounds.

Cavaliers 112 – 111 Hawks

After a ten-game losing streak, Cleveland Cavaliers went all out against Atlanta Hawks, narrowly edging out the visitors at the Quicken Loans Arena.

With 29 points, Collin Sexton topped the scoreboard, while Jarrett Allen finished with a double-double with 14 rebounds and 13 points.

Raptors 102 – 109 76ers

Philadelphia 76ers started off with a 37 point Q1 which Toronto Raptors aimed to rebut in the final, but the visitors still kept themselves ahead to steal a win at the Amalie Arena.

Tobias Harris scored 23, along with Joel Embiid’s 18 points and 12 rebounds. Furkan Korkmaz contributed 19 points.

Knicks 106 – 114 Warriors

Another Steph Curry scoring spree saw Golden State Warriors overpowering New York Knicks at the Madison Square Garden.

Curry landed a score of 37, while Kelly Oubre Jr added in 19 points. Draymond Green clocked 12 assists.

Mavericks 110 – 107 Celtics

Boston Celtics fell to their 16th loss this season against an outpacing Dallas Mavericks at the American Airlines Center.

Luka Dončić powered the Mavs with 31 points, 10 rebounds and 8 assists, while Jalen Brunson scored 22.

Nets 127 – 118 Kings

James Harden stars another triple-double as Brooklyn Nets took charge of the game with a 42-point Q1 till the end, thrashing Sacramento Kings at the Barclays Center.

Harden finished with 29 points, 11 rebounds and 14 points, while Bruce Brown Jr equalled the former’s points. Kyrie Irving scored 21.

Bucks 139 – 112 Timberwolves

A through and through domination over Minnesota Timberwolves saw Milwaukee Bucks cruising to a comfortable victory at the Fiserv Forum.

Giannis scored 37, along with 8 rebounds and assists each while Bryn Forbes came off the bench to post 23 points, negating Karl-Anthony Towns’ double-double.

Clippers 135 – 116 Wizards

An overpowering Los Angeles Clippers broke the five-game win streak of the Washington Wizards at the Staples Center.

Kawhi Leonard and Paul George led the hosts with 32 and 3 points respectively, as the Beal-Westbrook double-double duo went in vain.

Nuggets 111 – 106 Trail Blazers

Denver Nuggets paddled to a victory over Portland Trail Blazers with a stunning 40-point performance from Nikola Jokić at the Ball Arena.

Jokić finished with a score of 41, while Michael Porter Jr. added in his double-double of the night with 12 points and 10 rebounds. Jamal Murray scored 24.
