Former American actress Meghan Markle was with the belief that she would be the ‘Beyonce of the UK’ when she married Prince Harry. Prior to that, she found that she intensely disliked the strict protocols of royal life and behind time shockingly quit her duties as the Duchess of Sussex, as affirmed by an explosive new book.

The Times published the bombshell extracts of the imminent book, Courtiers: The Hidden Power Behind the Crown by Valentine Low.

As per a former palace insider it was claimed by a bombshell new book that the 41-year-old Meghan Markle thought she would be the “Beyoncé of the UK” when she married Prince Harry as far as she came across the ceaseless “ridiculous” rules of being a working royal.

While talking about the Duke and Duchess of Sussex’s move to the United States, the insider informed author Valentine Low that the former actress instantly became disenchanted by the strict rules of life in the royal family.

“I think Meghan thought she was going to be the Beyoncé of the UK. Being part of the royal family would give her that kudos,” claimed the source in the bombshell book as per extracts published in The Times.

“Whereas what she discovered was that there were so many rules that were so ridiculous that she couldn’t even do the things that she could do as a private individual, which is tough.”

The insider further continued the way Meghan and Harry’s departure was handled was “incompetent beyond belief”.

The source told Mr Low, “Harry and Meghan felt cornered, misunderstood and deeply unhappy.”

The insider said when the Duke and Duchess of Sussex made public the news they were leaving, the royal family’s decision-makers should have held a meeting at the palace to discuss how to handle the matter.

“To sit around a table and say, ‘OK, what are we going to do about this? What do you need to feel better? And what can we give?'”

The bombshell new book also asserts the ‘Elephant’ actress’ ex-staff were left “broken” and “terrified” by her proclaimed shrieking outbursts.

“There were a lot of broken people,” a close source revealed in the explosive new book, according to extracts published in The Times.

In another incident the former actress allegedly blasted a young female staffer in front of her co-workers.

Reportedly she said, “Don’t worry. If there was literally anyone else I could ask to do this, I would be asking them instead of you.”
