Premier League giants Manchester United and Arsenal are set to lock horns in the huge top-flight clash at Old Trafford on Thursday.

Manchester United:

Manchester United are in eighth place in the league table at the moment and have been on a disappointing run recently. The Red Devils looked stronger under Michael Carrick, who took charge on a temporary basis after the sacking of Ole Gunnar Solskjaer. Carrick’s men went on to salvage a point after a commendable 1-1 draw at Stamford Bridge over the weekend.

Michael Carrick has earned two positive results during his time but on Monday morning, the news that all Man United fans were waiting for was announced, as Ralf Rangnick prepares to lead the team for the remainder of the 2021-22 season.

Arsenal:

Arsenal are currently in fifth place in the Premier League standings and have shown huge improvement after a poor start to their campaign. The Gunners edged Newcastle United to a 2-0 victory in their previous game and will be eyeing to work hard to replicate that result on Thursday.

The Gunners have overcome the fears of a lack of open play goals by responding in the perfect way to their Anfield thumping, and following West Ham United’s defeat to Manchester City, Arteta’s men are now level on points with their fourth-placed counterparts.

Waging Odds: Manchester United (2.00) vs Arsenal (3.50) (Draw 3.75)

Manchester United are favourites and are priced at 2.00, meaning if you bet ₹100 on them and if they win the match, you’ll be making ₹200.

Arsenal are priced at 3.50 and are the underdogs. Betting ₹100 on them will earn you ₹350 if they come out as winners.

The odds for a draw are placed at 3.75 Betting ₹100 on it will earn you ₹375 if the match is drawn.

Our Prediction:

Manchester United have suffered heavily and this has been one of the most difficult campaigns in their recent Premier League history. They have managed only one point in their last three games. The Red Devils have a formidable squad on paper but will need to work as a unit to secure a top-four finish. While Arsenal are unbeaten in their last six Premier League encounters with Man United and have not conceded a goal to the Red Devils since September 2019. It is likely, United will be getting away with a victory against the Gunners.
