Pippen had clarified her stance with Beasley

Pippen had claimed in an interview that Beasley and Yao were separated during the time she was with the player.

“We had spoken about it. It wasn’t a secret, I know a lot of people that are married and exiting. I’ve played that part. So for me, if you’re not being shady and you’re telling me all your stuff, I’m going to believe you.”

She had added that it only takes a simple Google search to know about the troubles Beasley and Yao were facing in their marriage.

“It had nothing to do with me, so I wasn’t thinking anything about it,” she said. “If you spent a minute Googling their situation, it wasn’t the ideal situation way before me.”

The player had married Yao in March 2020 and also have a son together who was born in 2019.

The 24-year-old was initially roped in by Denver Nuggets in the 2016 NBA Draft as the 19th overall pick. After four seasons with the franchise, he was traded off to Minnesota Timberwolves.

In September 2020, he was found guilty and was arrested for marijuana possession and concealing stolen property.

Despite Timberwolves’ shambolic season, he is having a fruitful outing by posting 20.5 points per game, a significant increase from his time with the Nuggets.
