The Arm Wrestling fandom couldn’t believe what they were treated with last week- a superfight between the two giants in the sport, Devon Larratt and John Brzenk who are ready to lock their arms in on the table this 11th December in Dubai. On top of that, the event has just become more interesting with the inclusion of bodybuilder Larry Wheels and powerlifter Brandon Allen, who will be facing each other on the undercard of Larratt vs Brzenk.
KOTT 2.0: Can Larry Wheels bounce back into victory against Brandon Allen?
Famous bodybuilder and social media icon Larry Wheels has become a prominent name in the global arm wrestling fraternity in recent times. The 26-year-old had previously appeared on the undercard of Devon Larratt vs Michael Todd at the King of the Table event earlier this year in May, where he suffered a 6-0 loss to Russian arm wrestling phenomenon Aleksandr Beziazykov aka “Schoolboy”.
Now, Larry Wheels will be seen back in action once again at King of the Table 2.0 on 11th December in Dubai as he faces Brandon Allen, a 33-year-old powerlifter from the United States who has also been seen competing in arm wrestling events in recent times.
The main event of KOTT 2.0 will feature King of the Table winner and the posterboy of modern arm wrestling Devon Larratt taking on John Brzenk, named officially the “Greatest Armwrestler of All Time” by the Guinness Book of World Records.
Nicknamed “The Golden Boy”, Brzenk is the reigning UAL Right-Handed Champion (Heavyweight Division) which he won in 2011 and was last seen in action in the World Armwrestling League where he defeated Larratt to become the Right-Handed Champion (Heavyweight Division) in 2015.
Larratt, meanwhile, defeated Michael Todd at KOTT 1 back in May and has been at his peak form and it will be interesting to see if he is able to continue his domination against Brzenk, who has been reckoned as a force of nature in the sport.
